myths of hunger
Poor people are lazy.
It's their fault they're poor.
They have babies to get welfare.
People abuse the system.

Hunger doesn't happen here.

action of the month

On Saturday, May 9th every member of this community will have a chance to help our neighbors in need by participating in the 17th annual NALC Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.  This one day, all over the nation, 240,000 letter carriers will pick up any non perishable food donations placed by our mailboxes when they deliver our mail.  It’s that simple.

Help spread the word click here to download a flyer to share with co-workers, friends, your church community and neighbors.  One day can make a difference.
