choice pantry : criteria

An Affiliated Choice Pantry shall (be):

1. A member, in good standing, of Shared Harvest Foodbank, Inc.

2. A member of and have a signed 'Affiliation Agreement' with the F.E.E.D. Alliance as a designated Choice Pantry.

3. Have the operational and facility capacity to allow for consumer shopping, and:

a) Provide groceries in sufficient quality and quantity to meet the complete needs of the person or family seeking assistance;

b) Have the willingness to serve all eligible persons in need of food assistance who reside in their established service area;

c) have the ability to serve clients at a minimum of every thirty days;

d) provide space for out-stationed staff;

4. Located in an area with identified unmet needs which meets ADA requirements;

5. Offer staggered day, evening and weekend hours of operations;

6. Participate in a shared data base technology;

7. Abide by agreements between F.E.E.D. Alliance and Providers of Services
